Fresh Tomatoes Salsa (Pico de Gallo)

5 dl

3 ripe medium tomatoes or 2 cups little tomatoes, diced
1/2 small red onion, finaly diced
1 jalapeno, stemmed, seeded and minced
1 garlic clove minced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
juice of 2 limes or to taste
3 table spoons of olive oil
salt and freshly ground peppar to taste

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix it well together. Cover and let stand for one hour to allow the flavors to marry.
